Exhibition/Commemorative Toy box

“Perfection is achieved not when their is nothing left to add but when their is nothing more to take away.”
Saint-Exupéry

360mm x 360mm
14.7”x 14.7”

A toy box, inspired from Saint-Exupéry children’s novel ‘The Little Prince’. All the pieces fit back exactly into their inverse shape in the box, to make it whole.
The toys are based around elements in the novel. They are not proportional to one another and are there simplest possible form, so that they almost become ambiguous, leaving the child free to imagine another manifestation of the object. The box also acts as a chalkboard so whatever the child wishes it to be, they are allowed to create it.
